About the Case:
Case Front: The Viper appears to be grafted from a sports car in addition to the backlit "Viper" design that helps to make up the stylish looks of this PC case. In addition air flow ports are carved in the bottom of the front panel allowing for increased airflow.
The convenient top I/O panel enables easy access to 1X USB 3.0/1X 2.0 ports, and two audio ports. The front panel swings open to reveal 3 Smart One Click Bay covers to further enhance this cases design. To finish the front panel a large mesh air flow cutout under the drive bays allows for further increased airflow to the inner case components.
Case Rear: The rear has the commonly included 120mm fan and support for liquid cooling including the cutouts for the coolent lines to an external radiator. Lastly in this case the power supply mounts at the bottom of the rear.
Case Top: The top has a sleek design with airflow cutouts on each side in the rear section. 2 120 mm fans could be mounted to utilize these ports if desired or maybe some lighting might be directed through these ports.
Case Bottom: Looking at the bottom we have four rubberized feet helping with anti-vibration. Also in the bottom rear you will find plenty of room for your PSU to tuck in below the VGA card.
Left Side Panel: The left side panel has a large tinted transparent window enhancing visibility to the inner case components. One feature here is the panel swings from the rear providing quick and easy access to the inner panel.
Right Side Panel: Flat panel designed to provide extra storage and management space behind the motherboard panel.
Inside Case: Inside the case you will find everything from cable management to a modular designed HDD rack. The HDD rack can be mounted to support VGA cards from a standard 280 mm to an impressive 390 mm. A massive power supply may also be utilized in this case which sits nicely under the VGA cards in the bottom rear corner. To finish off the Viper II everything is nicely powder coated black to finish off the look.
Our Comments:
The Raidmax Viper II is like a work of art with its unique backlit "V" design and smooth exterior lines. Boasting a few rare options including the "swingable" left side panel and modular HDD bay configurations making for an impressive case design with usability.
This case has plenty of room for everything you could wanna cram in the sleek black interior including an impressive 390 mm video card slot providing access to higher end cards. Noticeably is the excess room also provided below for the PSU. This case would make for an excellent choice in the budget to mid-range PC build sector. This case is a steal considering all the great features and options available with it. A great big Thumbs up for the Viper II series PC case for style and compatibility, It would be hard to go wrong with this case and the best thing of all is the price: 49.99 wow! A steal!
